Beyond the Shrouded Horizon es el vigésimo primer álbum de estudio del guitarrista y compositor inglés Steve Hackett .

"Loch Lomond" lleva el nombre del lago del mismo nombre en Escocia. Hackett describió la pista como influenciada por el blues que cambia a la música europea una vez que se escuchan las cuerdas. La letra contiene muchas imágenes contradictorias, como un colibrí en la nieve. Aunque la canción contiene lo que suenan como gaitas, Hackett reveló que el sonido es de hecho una mezcla de muestras de gaitas y un saxofón con la caña "girada hacia el otro lado".
