1969 - Stand Up (2010 Collectors Edition)
Stand Up es el segundo álbum de estudio de la banda de rock británica Jethro Tull, lanzado en 1969. Fue el primer álbum de Jethro Tull que presenta al guitarrista Martin Barre, quien se convertiría en el guitarrista de la banda desde hace mucho tiempo hasta su disolución inicial en 2012. Antes de grabar comenzaron las sesiones para el álbum, el guitarrista original de la banda, Mick Abrahams, dejó la banda como resultado de diferencias musicales con el líder y compositor principal Ian Anderson; Abrahams quería quedarse con el sonido blues rock de su debut en 1968, This Was, mientras que Anderson deseaba agregar otras influencias musicales como el folk rock.
Stand Up representa el primer proyecto de álbum en el que Anderson tenía el control total de la música y las letras. El resultado fue un álbum ecléctico con varios estilos e instrumentación apareciendo en sus canciones.
El álbum rápidamente alcanzó el número 1 en las listas de éxitos del Reino Unido, lo que lanzó aún más la carrera de la banda, mientras que el sencillo que no forma parte del álbum "Living in the Past" alcanzó el puesto número 3.
