John Wetton - Arkangel

1997 - Arkangel [2007 Remastered]

Este CD tiene una vibra interesante. Me gusta que sea más experimental, menos comercial que el de Battle Lines / Voice Mail. Teclados decentes, y hay un sabroso trabajo de guitarra en el disco de Billy Liesegang. Un par de canciones, como "Desperate Times", son desiguales y no suenan bien con la voz de John. En realidad, su voz es más fuerte en su lanzamiento de Rock Of Faith, 6 años después, que en este álbum. "The Last Thing On My Mind" es una gran canción, junto con "You Against the World" y "I Can't Lie Anymore" ... esta última y algunas de las canciones tienen una especie de sentimiento melancólico. El instrumental "The Celtic Cross" tiene buenos sonidos de orquesta y una guitarra acústica realmente agradable en la segunda mitad. Un lanzamiento fuerte en general
