William Henry Marcus Miller Jr. (nacido el 14 de junio de 1959) es un compositor de cine, compositor de jazz, productor de discos, arreglista y multiinstrumentista estadounidense, mejor conocido como bajista. Ha trabajado con el trompetista Miles Davis, el pianista Herbie Hancock, el cantante Luther Vandross y el saxofonista David Sanborn, entre otros.

Miller nació en Brooklyn, Nueva York, en 1959 y se crió en una familia de músicos. Su padre, William Miller, era organista de la iglesia y director de coro; Miller es primo del pianista de jazz Wynton Kelly. Miller tiene una formación clásica como clarinetista y también toca teclados, saxofón y guitarra. Comenzó a trabajar regularmente en la ciudad de Nueva York, eventualmente tocando el bajo y escribiendo música para el flautista de jazz Bobbi Humphrey y el tecladista Lonnie Liston Smith. Miller se convirtió en músico de sesión.
