... And Justice for All es el cuarto álbum de estudio American Heavy Metal banda Metallica , publicado el 7 de septiembre de 1988 por Elektra Records . Fue el primer álbum tras la muerte del bajista Cliff Burton en 1986, y el primero en presentar al nuevo bajista Jason Newsted .

Metallica grabó el álbum con el productor Flemming Rasmussen durante cuatro meses a principios de 1988 en One on One Recording Studios en Los Ángeles. Presenta una complejidad agresiva, tempos rápidos y pocas estructuras de estribillo y estribillo. Contiene temas líricos de injusticias políticas y legales, como la corrupción gubernamental, la censura y la guerra. La portada, diseñada por Stephen Gorman basada en un concepto del guitarrista de Metallica James Hetfield y el baterista Lars Ulrich , muestra a Lady Justice atada con cuerdas.
