Que sorpresa cuando recibo por mail esta bonita caja que me regaló mi novia como 'regalo de navidad antecipado'.

Esto no es una sorpresa para los viejos fanáticos. Consiste en los 3 primeros álbumes que grabó la banda: Out Of Myself (2003), Second Life Syndrome (2005) y Rapid Eye Movement (2007) que consiste en una trilogía: The Reality Dream Trilogy.

Los otros 3 discos son EP con bonus tracks: Voices In My Head (2005), Second Live Syndrome (2008) [una compilación de pistas en vivo del DVD Reality Dream] y Rapid Eye Movement II (2007) [el segundo disco del CD de edición especial].

Lo que realmente me satisface de esta caja es que es hermosa, el paquete vale cada centavo. Y no tenía todos sus álbumes, solo el primero y Anno Domini High Definition (gran álbum) que no se incluye aquí.

Recomiendo esta caja para cada nuevo fan de esta gran banda polaca y para todos los fanáticos que aún no poseen sus viejos discos.

Peter, Paul and Mary fueron un grupo de folk estadounidense formado en la ciudad de Nueva York en 1961, durante el fenómeno del renacimiento de la música folk estadounidense. El trío estaba compuesto por el tenor Peter Yarrow, el barítono Noel Paul Stookey y la contralto Mary Travers. El repertorio del grupo incluía canciones escritas por Yarrow y Stookey, las primeras canciones de Bob Dylan, así como versiones de otros músicos folclóricos. Después de la muerte de Travers en 2009, Yarrow y Stookey continuaron actuando como un dúo con sus nombres individuales.

Mary Travers dijo que fue influenciada por Woody Guthrie, Pete Seeger y los Weavers. En el documental Peter, Paul & Mary: Carry It On - A Musical Legacy, los miembros de los Weavers discuten cómo Peter, Paul y Mary se hicieron cargo de la antorcha del comentario social de la música folclórica en la década de 1960.
